Duke of Edinburgh Coordinator
You’re seeking new challenges whilst doing meaningful work amongst people who are passionate about the outdoors! This role is a key position to ensuring quality Duke of Edinburgh experiences are being provided both for partnership schools and the general public. Working closely with our Operations and Logistics Teams to ensure that the work is completed, behind the scenes, for successful operations in the field. As such, a detail focused and highly organised person with friendly, and clear communication skills is key for this position.
What qualifies you – You have a solid Outdoor and Duke of Edinburgh foundation with strong administrative capabilities. You’re very organised, well planned and a good communicator. Building and maintaining relationships is key here, equally important is your ‘fit’ within the Bigfoot team.
Bike Skills Instructors
Join us and use your passion for bikes to educate and empower our youth.
Full training will be provided through Bigfoot Adventures and Bike Ready. We can build your skills, knowledge and confidence so you are ready to pass this on to the students. There is also scope for future qualification in cycle skills through the Skills Active pathway.
There are full time, fixed term contracts available to suitable candidates as well as casual contract work for those seeking greater flexibility.
Work hours mostly consist of 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (this will vary for casual contractors).

Instructors
Though our instructors are technically contractors we don’t treat them as such. We pride ourselves on creating a culture that treats our instructors as family. We do so by:
- Hosting regular staff functions, including the award of the much coveted GC (Good Contractor) Award each term
- Running numerous activity trainings throughout the year
- Offering a variety of work from multi day Duke of Edinburgh Tramps and high level mountain bike journeys to in-school activity days, camps and BikeReady Bike Skills Programmes.
- Facilitating instructor check-ins, looking at progressions, formal qualifications and continual improvement
