ABL Games
Portable - Adventure Based Learning (ABL) Games are one of our most popular activities and can be done anywhere.
Abseiling
Site specific options include - Wharepapa Rock, Waipu Cove, Ti Point, Kinloch, Camp Bentzon & Motu Moana.
Amazing Race
Portable - Teams, flags, chants and challenges. Teams rotate around and solve cryptic clues to lead them to their next challenge.
Archery
Portable - this is a popular in-school and on-location activity. We can cater to small children up to adults.
Bivvy Build
Portable - this is a popular in-school and on-location activity. Involves learning about the weather and knots.
Bush Skills
Portable - a popular in-school & on-location activity. Activity varies based on surroundings. Often includes stove use & flora ID.
Canoeing
Site Specific -Jump in a canoe with a few friends and go for an explore of a river or lake with us.
Caving
Site specific - locations include Waipu, Whatipū and Tongariro National Park
Disc Golf
Portable - Disc golf is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf.
Zipline
Site Specific - We a operate zipline/flying fox at Camp Epworth
Kayaking
Site specific - Regular spots include Lake Pupuke, Hunua Falls camp and basically anywhere where there is enough water!
Mobile Rock Climbing Wall
Portable - If you can't go to the rock, we'll bring the rock to you.
Mountain Biking
Portable - both in-school and on-location activity. Small children and adults can up their skills using our portable ramps course.
Outdoor Climbing
Site specific - Wharepapa Rock, Waipu Cove, Ti Point and Kinloch.
Orienteering
Fully portable - this is a popular in-school and on-location activity. We can cater to small children up to adults, varying the difficulty and depth of skills.
Outdoor First Aid
Portable - Gives students some hands on practice to a life skill. Can be taught anywhere, but is best with some bush.
Pancake Race
Portable - A quiz will get everything you need to make your pancake. Race against other teams to create the best one for the judges.
Raft Building
Site specific - Regular spots include Lake Pupuke, Hunua Falls camp and basically anywhere where there is enough water!
Rogaine
Portable - Orienteering type. In a rogaine, teams of 2–5 people choose which checkpoints to visit within a time limit with the intent of maximizing their score.
Sea Kayaking
Site Specific - Exploring our sea the best way - tide and location dependent, but we have many favourite places!
Snow Experience
Site Specific - Ideal for those groups who don't get to see the snow very often. This chilly adventure takes us South to National Park.
Stream Bash
Site specific - Be prepared to get wet and learn about a natural environment from a different perspective.
Stand Up Paddleboarding
Site Specific - These XL Group SUPs can fit up to 10 adults, making sure it will be an adventure
Surf Kayaking
Site Specific - Learn how to paddle out past the waves using different paddling strokes and grips and then ride the wave to shore.
Tramping
From day hikes to extend multi-day journeys
Top Team
Portable - Teams participate in quick-fire team building games that help them discover things about their leadership, group dynamics and communication. May the best team win.
