Kate van der Hulle

Logistics Coordinator

Kate’s love for the outdoors was fostered as a home town farm girl, used to drenching cows, fixing gates, and driving tractors around her family farm. However, her wealth of experience logistics comes from her roles at the New Zealand-based Rugby World Cup in 2011 and the London Olympics in 2012. At these events, Kate was responsible for all the security passes, making sure every person and athlete had a pass, as well as managing access to various venues. Her highlights include meeting all the international athletes (Usain Bolt in particular), and watching the Kiwi team do the Haka every time a new team arrived at the athletes village.

Kate found her way to Bigfoot in 2014, after two years helping her family manage the farm, keen to get back to her passion for event management. If you phone Bigfoot, it’s likely it will be Kate’s friendly voice taking your call, ready to help deliver bespoke EOTC and Outdoor Experiences.

When Kate isn’t assisting in the pre-delivery of our fantastic outdoor experiences, she enjoys playing football, baking items for the Bigfoot staff to enjoy at morning tea, and watching movies. She also loves working on the family lifestyle block and traveling to new places.

“It’s not a problem, you just haven’t found the solution yet.”
