Duke Of Edinburgh
Adventurous Journey
The Duke of Edinburgh Award offers young people an amazing opportunity for personal growth and development, gaining life-skills, and creating life-long friendships.
Bigfoot Adventures now offer the Adventurous Journey section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
....."the training for practicing, planning and completing a journey on foot, horseback or by boat or cycle".
Currently we offer the Adventurous Journey components through the pursuit of tramping, however journeys involving cycling and kayaking can also be organised on request.
We have developed a very unique teaching resource which is practical, engaging and thorough. Our experienced, qualified and fun instructors will lead candidates on some unforgettable journeys, each time taking a step further along their own personal Duke of Edinburgh Award pathway.
Bigfoot Adventures offers the Adventurous Journey section for all 3 levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award:
The Adventurous Journey section consists of 3 components:
- Training
- Practice Tramp
- Qualifier Expedition
Candidates must ensure that they have completed the pre-requisite for each section prior to booking.
